A survey was posted via Google forms with 18 questions and prompts for users to answer.

A detailed Persona profile for Lindsay Schaeffer, a 32-year-old married Instagram creator and mother of triplets in Nashville, TN. It includes sections on Demographics, Behaviors & Habits, Pain Points & Frustrations, and Needs & Goals, with bullet points describing her interests, dislikes, challenges, and aspirations.

Interview Plan

An interview plan with 20 questions was created. Questions include the ones listed below, as well as others such as “would you be interested in a rewards program?”, “what would deter you from ordering ice cream for pickup?”, and “how often do you typically order food online/via an app?”

Our affinity diagram was originally organized by motivations, hesitations, and potential app features. From there, we narrowed it into budgeting, perks, quick service, and consumability.

As a busy mom of three and content creator, Shelly is on the go much of the time. Shelly wants a quick and efficient way to order a treat for herself and her children so she can successfully complete her tasks for the day, but often has difficulty finding fast solutions when she is busy.
